An NYC web developer for small businesses.

For small businesses in New York City that want it done right: a real developer who visits your location, writes your copy, builds your site, and stays on. Not a team you'll never hear from again.

In Person, In NYC

I come to you, anywhere in New York City.

For NYC businesses, every project starts with a visit to your location.

How hiring a web developer for your NYC small business actually works

1

We talk.

You reach out by phone, email, or the form below, and I respond within one business day. We have a direct conversation about your business, what's not working, and what a good outcome looks like. No pitch, no proposal deck. Just an honest conversation about whether this is the right fit and what it would take.

2

I visit.

For NYC businesses, I come to you. I see your space, meet you in person, take photos, and learn what makes your place specifically yours. That visit is where the site starts, not in a template.

3

I build.

I write your copy, design the layout, and build the site. For single-page sites, you'll be reviewing a live staging site within 10 business days: real copy, real design, working on every device, with two rounds of revisions to get it right. Multi-page sites reach staging within 15 business days. You bring the business expertise. I handle everything else.

4

I launch and stay.

Once the site is live, I don't disappear. Call or email me directly when something needs changing. Starting over with someone new every time something comes up isn't a system. This is.

"My site doesn't represent what we've built."

From $1,500 (single page)  /  From $3,000 (multi-page)

Over 5 pages, I scope it on a discovery call so the number comes from your actual project, not a guess.

Custom website design for small businesses in New York City

You know how to run your business, and you shouldn't need to also run your website. I start with a conversation about what you do and who your customers are, write your copy, design the layout, and build a site that represents what you've built. For NYC businesses, I come to your location, meet you in person, and take photos of the actual space. After that, I stay on. I build content websites: the kind that show what you do, where you are, and why someone should come in. I don't build or maintain online stores.

  • I write your copy: you bring the business knowledge, I handle everything else
  • In-person visit and original photography for NYC businesses: your space, your team, your work
  • A website designed around your business, not a generic template
  • Fast on every device, set up so search engines and AI tools know what you do and where you are
  • Two rounds of copy/design revisions included
  • I set up your domain, or move the one you have, and handle the launch
  • Hosting and maintenance handled from launch on, nothing to update yourself
  • Single-page sites live within 2 to 3 weeks, multi-page within 4 to 5

"My site looks like it was built a decade ago."

From $1,500 (single page)  /  From $3,000 (multi-page)

Over 5 pages, I audit first so the number comes from your actual site, not a guess.

Website redesign and rebuilds for outdated, slow, or broken NYC small business sites

A site that looks like it was built a decade ago is telling potential customers something about your business, and it's probably not what you want them to think. The neighborhood staple that's been at the same corner for twenty years deserves a website that reflects what you've actually built. I take your current site and rebuild it: faster, right on every device, and set up properly for search. Then I maintain it going forward. If you're on Wix, Squarespace, or a WordPress install nobody remembers setting up, I can migrate you to a clean custom build that stays hosted, maintained, and backed by someone you can actually call.

  • Full audit: I tell you exactly what's broken and why before anything starts
  • Modern, mobile-first redesign that looks right on every screen
  • Rebuilt so Google, Maps, and AI tools can find you correctly
  • Migration from Wix, Squarespace, GoDaddy, or WordPress (content sites)
  • In-person visit and original photography for NYC businesses: your space, your team, your work
  • Two rounds of copy/design revisions included
  • I handle the hosting migration, nothing gets lost in the move
  • Single-page sites live within 2 to 3 weeks, multi-page within 4 to 5

Still paying monthly for Wix, Squarespace, or GoDaddy?

You're paying a monthly fee for a platform that isn't working for you. For standard content sites up to 5 pages, migration is included at no extra cost with a rebuild. Switch to a custom site with someone to call for updates, starting at $40 a month after the rebuild. Booking systems, membership areas, and large blogs are quoted separately. Online stores aren't something I build or maintain.

What switching actually costs, one-time and ongoing.

Wix / Squarespace / GoDaddy Ongoing monthly fee
Nobody to call On your own
Rebuild (one-time) From $1,500
Migration (up to 5 pages) Free
Starter care plan $40/mo

Website care and maintenance plans for NYC small businesses

Every 5 Points Foundry project ends with a care plan, because a site you can't maintain isn't really done. Your site stays hosted, secure, and current. When something needs changing (new hours, a photo swap, a menu update), you call or email me directly and I handle it. No ticket system. No waiting for someone to get back to you. It's not an add-on. It's how every client relationship works. Small changes are quick. A new page or a new section takes longer.

Every site I build includes a care plan. Which tier is up to you. Billing starts the first of the month after your site goes live, and everything before that is covered. Hourly work on any plan is billed in 30-minute minimum increments.

You own your domain and your site. If you ever leave, both go with you.

"I just need one thing changed. I don't need an ongoing arrangement."

One-time website fixes and updates with no ongoing commitment

$150/hour (1-hour minimum)

Already have a site that needs a specific fix? I handle one-off updates with no project commitment: content changes, broken forms, display issues on mobile. This covers changes to a site that already exists. New pages, search work, and photography are quoted as projects.

About the web developer behind 5 Points Foundry

5 Points Foundry is a solo web studio based on the Upper East Side of Manhattan. Jon Zielenkievicz founded it in 2026 to do one thing well: build and maintain websites for established businesses that have earned their reputation and need a web presence that reflects it.

Jon has over 15 years of professional web development experience, including five years in senior roles at Interpublic Group and five years at New York City's official tourism organization, where he maintained the systems behind Restaurant Week, Broadway Week, and Off-Broadway Week. Those programs run at scale with real performance requirements and no margin for shortcuts. The businesses that work with 5 Points Foundry get that same standard applied to their site.

Jon also created and operates Upper East Side Local, a personally verified neighborhood business guide covering Yorkville, Carnegie Hill, and Lenox Hill. Every listing has been visited and confirmed in person. It's not a side project. It's how Jon stays connected to the neighborhood and the business owners in it, and why the businesses that work with 5 Points Foundry get someone who already knows the street they're on.

5 Points Foundry exists because the alternatives don't work well enough for neighborhood businesses. Agencies are structured for larger clients and priced accordingly. Platforms like Wix and Squarespace trade one problem for another. Freelancers take the project and move on. 5 Points Foundry is built around a different set of decisions: custom work, transparent pricing, in-person visits for NYC businesses, and a care plan that keeps the relationship going after the site is live.

Not a team. Not a platform. A neighbor who builds websites.
